Poe is the MASTER of spooky, horrifying and down right messed up story telling. And teaching his works are essential, ESPECIALLY this time of year. A couple of weeks ago, I shared my lesson for The Cask of Amontillado. But what about the author? It's important to know about the author in order to better understand and appreciate the work that he created in his short life.
This stations activity is designed as an introduction to Edgar Allan Poe and can be used with ANY of his literary works. This is not specific to any of his works but designed to be an introduction to him as an author, writer and person.
